Carbon neutrality in UK’s building sector: Paths and policies

This paper presents the development history and latest trends of policies for building energy conservation and decarbonization in the UK. It focuses on the functions of the Committee on Climate Change, the concept of carbon emission budget and the main contents of the balanced net-zero pathway. The UK experiences might be useful references to developing the pathway for achieving China’s carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals.
